Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we store your email address (or the profile information provided by Google/Discord if you use OAuth sign-in).

When you use the service, we store your conversation history (questions, answers, referenced cards, and rules) so you can return to past conversations.

We collect your IP address transiently for rate limiting. IP addresses are not stored persistently or associated with your account.

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the MTJudge service. Specifically:

• Your email is used for authentication and account recovery.
• Conversation history is stored so you can resume past sessions.
• Questions are processed by AI models to generate rules answers. We do not use your questions to train AI models.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

MTJudge relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication, database storage, and vector search for rules retrieval.
• OpenAI / Google (Gemini) — AI language models that process your questions and generate answers. Your questions are sent to the active provider.
• Scryfall — card data and images. No user data is sent to Scryfall.
• Vercel — frontend hosting and edge delivery.
• Render — backend API hosting.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. signup confirmation). Your email address is shared with Resend to send these messages.
• ImprovMX — email forwarding for our contact address. If you email us, your message passes through ImprovMX.

Each service is subject to its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

MTJudge does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage for:

• Theme preference (dark/light mode).
• Supabase authentication session tokens.

No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are present.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings menu, which permanently removes your account and all associated data (conversations, messages, and summaries).

MTJudge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of MTJudge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
